I have just written all below as if im talking to gummi. Then i realised that the invitation to run any distance is open to any one in the family of course, as we mentioned at christmas/new year. whether you run 10 meteres, 100 metres, 5km, 10km, half or even the full marathon! So bear in mind it was written for gummi! and looking forward to seeing this all transpire : P

I am new to this thing, but make sure you enable notifications. To your mail or phone or something. I'll do the same, for when each of us post.

I wanted this thing to be something we keep up with. Something tells me we need to keep reminding ourselves of the goal, which i suppose is to just plan and train the best way we can, and to - on the day - run with pride, no matter the distance or pace. Though 42.2km might be nice for us both to achieve : P

This is typical me, as you know it is (especially to promise it and not deliver), but i may want to do a little vlog about this. Kind of an interesting story. two people training in different countries for a marathon distance in potentially minus 10 to -20 conditions.

I have been doing a small amount of research for you, and it seems the 'nike running club - running coach', might be a good option. Its free apparently. We have a few weeks to play with, but ill be starting training in the next two weeks. from absolute scratch. I have put the link below. I will have a look another time, and bring you more ideas shortly, but defo have a good look around. The one i use is now called something else on android (google store). I can't vouch for it. With that app, and with others, you have to download and use multiple ones (5km, 10km, half mara, full marathon). For example i use 3 (10km, half marathon, full marathon). I paid for them already, and id say that anything thats under £50 overall and suits you well, is well worth the price. I think mine cost less than £25 altogether to have for good/keeps. Cos some are a certain price for 6 months or something. Anyway, have a look around and looking forward to chatting more about it soon.

Please share any ideas, apps etc on here!!! I'm always open to using new ones, or im just interested to know what you are using.
